A Time to Say Goodbye
Sorrow, shock, confusion combined on that day, July 20, 2011, when we learned of the tragic accident that claimed the life of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend Richard Allan Morley. Less than two weeks from his 75th birthday he was taken from us as he rode his scooter down the street on a beautiful day in his home city of Portland, OR, that he loved so much.
His family and friends are spread around a variety of regions and we all want to keep up on the plans and status of our goodbyes. So, this site is intended to be a central source of information for details as they develop as well as a place where we can share our thoughts and memories of our times with Rich.

"I am so grateful to have these wonderful photos and dear expressions from you all. And thank you Steve for doing this - I thought it would be too hard, but it helps so much. Love to you all, and hope to have hugs soon. Please know, grandchildren that I want to talk to each one of you soon, but my heart and soul, like yours, is ripped apart and it may take me a little longer to talk. My love to you, and know how much Richard loved you all." Joan
